Our Story

My name is Deen Vinci, I am the founder and owner of Deen Vinci Design Studio. I grew up in the countryside of Chester County, Pennsylvania spending most of my days outside in nature. I am very blessed to have a beautiful wife and four wonderful children who have helped inspire me in my life. I founded Surrounded by Stone, my masonry and landscape design and installation firm in 2003. Since then I have grown a successful business based on superior quality, attention to detail and creative design. I have always had a love for natural materials and building. Having run my masonry business for many years, my passion and artistic nature led me to expand into woodworking and stone carving. I am in awe of the natural grains and colors in wood. I hope to bring out the best qualities of the products I’m working with to be able to offer timeless pieces for all to enjoy with the same passion that I have given to my masonry business. I also enjoy carving stones such as marble, alabaster, and soapstone and will be adding these pieces over time. I have pictures of some of my stone carving creations below.
